We at Haymarket are working to create more opportunities for radical rest and rejuvenation for our community's anti-racist organizers and leaders.

During our 50th Anniversary Celebration on May 1st, we announced the launch of our Trailblazer Sabbatical Fund in honor of leaders who've helped us reach where we are today. This fund is dedicated to providing sabbatical opportunities in 2025 for trailblazers to recover from this necessary but demanding work. More details on this fund and opportunity will be available in the near future.

For those who are unfamiliar, some of the benefits of taking a sabbatical are:

• Recovering from high-stress levels and burnout symptoms
• Feeling rejuvenated and reinvigorated to return to organizing work with new, creative organizing ideas and techniques 
• Cultivating new growth and leadership development opportunities for less experienced co-organizers
